What is Home Loving Care?
We provide quality in-home care for your loved ones by matching a homemaker/companion or CNA one-on-one with each client. We assist family members with the tasks of daily living, so they can remain safe and comfortable in the environment of their own home. We are locally owned and licensed in 13 counties.
What are your rates of service?
Because all services and schedules are tailored to the needs of the client, the rate of service for each client is determined at the initial assessment meeting, when our nurse meets with the client and/or the client’s family to assess the client’s situation and needs. There is a no charge for the assessment visit.
When checking for price some companies quote a low rate, but then add on additional charges, do you do this?
Our rates are determined by the client/family need. Once services are agreed upon with our agency, all rates are finalized then, no hidden fees.
All rates are subject to change, but not without notice.
Friends have suggested hiring someone that is not employed with an agency since it is cheaper. Should I do this?
We would strongly recommend not doing this, as there are a number of risks you take. This person will not be bonded, not insured, and not reporting their income, you may be held liable for payroll taxes by the government. Also you could be liable for unemployment benefits should you ever discontinue your relationship with the caregiver. One final thought there is no guarantee that they are properly trained to provide professional, trustworthy service to you or your loved one.
Are your caregivers experienced?
Yes. We have compassionate homemaker/companions and Certified Nursing Assistants who truly have a passion for providing care and they are our employees, thoroughly interviewed, screened and criminal background checked (state and national), trained and oriented, bonded and insured. We prefer the caregivers who have had the life experiences of raising their own children as well as caring for older family members.
How quickly can I have a caregiver or CNA if I need to start service for my parent or loved one?
Usually, our Scheduling Department try to meet your needs within 24-72 hours depending on the number of hours being requested, care, and location.
Where is your office located?
Our main office is located at 1011 Masten Drive, Kernersville, NC 27284, but since we are located in other counties we meet your needs by coming to your location. All of our homemaker/companions, CNAs are hired from the county where are clients are located. We also provide a toll free number for those outside of our calling district 866-455-1600 which is answered by one of our staff 24/7.
Do you provide services at outside care facilities?
Yes, we do. We provide services for independent senior living, assisted living, and hospitals.
What happens if your caregiver calls in with an emergency?
Our agency recommends that each client/family allow us to create a team of caregivers for emergency situations. This will help with call outs & give the agency a better opportunity to ensure continued care.
