I attended a meeting this morning and found it to be really amazing how excited everyone was because the “S” word changed from snow to sun!!! I know for myself, I am excited. I feel better, the trees, grass, and flowers are smiling, so life is good. The little voice inside of me begins to talk, if life is good, Judy, then why are you not enjoying it. Good question to ask not only me, but all of you.
Are you enjoying life or are there things on your mind that just seems to pull the life and smiles out of you? My answer is yes, but it is because I let it and I need to stop it. My health is paying the price. How about you, is your health paying the price?
Okay, let’s inventory the problems:
- Work – is always an excuse
- Mentally and Physical – exhausted
- Lack of sleep
- Too many errands
- Caring for children and parents
Well, I could go on and on, but we are going to stop the finger pointing and turn a new page or at least I am going to try.
If the sun is out and it is a beautiful day, go after dinner for a take a 10 minute walk with soul mate, you parents and children. If at the soccer field take a lap before the game or with the family after the practice or game. Go to a local park or garden to relax and enjoy the view, even if it is just or a moment. We can not care for others, if we are not well.
Go to Lowes or a Garden Center and check out all the smiles on the flowers.
What about a easy hike this weekend. Some of you may be going to the beach, so it is great to just walk on the beach.
Enjoy your days, enjoy each other, reach out to one another, reach out to a friend or co-worker and open new doors and close the bad doors for five/fifteen minutes a day and then you will start to see a change in you and others.
